my son went and grew up

Today he got his learner’s permit so he can drive now. I got teary eyed watching him get his picture taken and I am totally petrified for him to be on the road. Ugh. I haven’t had time to wrap my head around the fact that he is almost 16 years old!!!!! (Oh and still very lazy, he wouldn’t get up to get a shirt on for me to take his picture lol) Where does the time go? I swear you blink your eyes and they go from being a baby to an almost adult.

Good thing his dad is taking him to learn too because my son and I are so much alike that I think we would not come away from this experience happy campers. So I am keeping my fingers crossed and here’s to hoping that the car will be ok :-)
